Clear pricing before any work starts

We do not start work without your approval. When you bring a car to us, we inspect it, identify what needs doing, and give you a price before ordering any parts or touching anything. You decide what gets done, in what order, and to what budget. There are no invoice surprises at collection.

We also do not pad quotes with unnecessary work. If a timing belt is in good condition and not yet due, we will not recommend it. If a brake pad has 4mm of life left, we will note it as advisory — not quote its replacement as urgent. Our repeat customer rate is over 70%, which we think reflects that.

DVSA approved MOT testing

We are a DVSA approved Class 4 MOT testing station. Our equipment is calibrated to current standards and the test is conducted to DVSA guidelines. If your car fails, we explain each failure item clearly — what it is, what it means, and what the repair involves. We can carry out most repairs the same day or next morning and arrange a prompt retest.
