Common questions
- Will a remap affect my insurance?
- Yes — you must declare any engine remap to your insurer. Failing to do so can void your policy. We always advise checking with your insurer before agreeing to tuning work so there are no surprises after the job.
- What gains can I realistically expect from a remap?
- On a standard turbo diesel you can expect 15–30% more power and similar torque gains. Petrol turbos typically see 10–20%. Naturally aspirated engines see limited gains. We give you realistic expectations before you commit.
- Do you check the car before carrying out tuning?
- Always. We run a diagnostic scan and health check before any software or hardware modification. Tuning a car with underlying faults risks damage — we will not proceed until the car is in suitable condition.
