Common questions

Which tyre brand should I choose?
It depends on your budget and how you drive. Premium brands like Michelin, Continental, and Bridgestone offer the best wet braking performance. We stock mid-range and budget options too and explain the actual performance difference before you decide.
Do I need to replace tyres in pairs?
We recommend replacing in pairs on the same axle to keep handling balanced. On a driven or steering axle, mismatched tyres affect grip and stability. We advise on the best approach based on your remaining tread depths.
How do I know when my tyres need replacing?
The legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters. Most tyre manufacturers recommend replacing at 3mm for safety, especially in wet conditions. We check all four tyres every visit and give you an honest picture.
